Construction of the Second Mining Rig Has Begun!

It's literally been an age since I posted on this blog, mainly as there been nothing to blog about really. 

The first mining rig is still going well, although there have been some power issues buit so well infact, that I have added another two cards to it, so it now has 5 cards albeit from different companies but the same make of card and another 850w PSU has helped it stay afloat.

About $13 coming in per day from rig one now, its quite spectacular, however plans have been building for the last few weeks and I have now aquired more wood!

A second rig is now planned and I already have some ideas as to what cards are going to be on this one.

UPDATE:

Its the same day and rig two construction has begun!  I have all the screws and wood, which I was able to buy in the town where I live.



Update 27th feb: Rig 2 construction is now complete, after some annoying sawing and no straight cuts... its done.



I am also mining on my RTX 1080 STRIX GPU in my main computer, as the price of bitcoin is  almost at $60K... jesus!

Another thing I should add in this blog is that there is another grant coming for my lack of work during the pandemic, I already know and you should too that this will be spent on mining rigs as I have no idea if I can ever DJ again lol.

I think this is a good investment?  TBH i have no idea wtf im doing and I can always sell this stuff if it dosent work lol.

I purchased a nice curved monitor and LED mousemat which you can see behind the completed rig!  Alexa was free off my mother haha!

So its been a while, Rig 2 had major glitches and keeps crashing every now and then, Rig 1 is also on the blink today, Im thinking it may need the cards flipping rigs. While they are currently being good, I have ordered some hard drives to try my hand at CHIA mining, yes mining has now come to the good old hard drive. I purchased these two 16TB My Book Duo External Drives which have cost me close to £700 and this could get interesting! UPDATE: Hard Drives Installed and Mining and I have now learn how to install large drives in windows 10, not sure on this one but gotta try new things, literally cannot fit any more bitcoin mining rigs in this house haha.... October Begins And Something MASSIVE HAS ARRIVED!

Well folks, October could be our month as it has started off on an amazing note with our very first RTX 3090 arriving in the post on the 4th october, never thought I would see this day but its finally here! This thing literally cost a fortune, however, it has increased my mining profits to over £700 per month after electricity, which has now gone up in price by £0.03p/KwH. Bitcoin took a small tumble today, however its still sitting close to $57K and looks set to blast off again later in the month. The 3090 was a tight fit into the BEAST and the internet suffered an attack with a major Facebook outage on the same day I installed the card.... wonderful! On the 7th October, I got a notification from HOTBIT exchange that SHIBA INU has taken off... looks like buying that SHIB has paid off from last year!!!  Now $40 in profit!  The market price of SHIB is at $9.1B, its mental! I'm Moving House! Its Time To Get Off This Crazy Electricity!

The time has come and moving day is not far away! I have managed, through a good friend, to aquire a 2 bedroom house in the middle of knowhere and away from the crazyness of the town where I live. Big plans are afoot and as you can see from the picture above, the boxes to move all the mining equipment have begun to be assembled. There are 2 reasons for moving, I need a three bedroom house eventually but for now this givesd me 2 bedrooms for more space, dedicated mining office and dedicated electricity supply. I have also aquired a new internet router from EE which is a 4G MiFi router and works without a phone line, meaning I will soon be mining on their 4G network! In other news I have been mining a new coin on my phone called Pi Network and have about 8,000 coins atm with more people joining all the time, prices of this coin at launch could hit $1.50, could bne interesting and I will keep you updated!
